Okay, news....

The construction workers that were threating to go on strike have called it off.  Their union have reached an agreement with Warner Bros. for ther pay increase.  (Which I think is deserved after 3+ years)

Emma Watson talks about Hermione...

"I've grown loads, and so has everyone else. I definitely see changes in everyone.  We're the same age as our characters - nobody is trying to make us look younger.  You're going to see changes in Hermione. She actually becomes a bit of a rebel. She's not going to take anything from anybody else."

Emma also says that you'll be seeing alot more of Hermione in the third movie.

Iharrypotter.net has a great report concerning the future of Quidditch on their site.  Please go to our links section to get to their site.  Here's a teaser to what's said...

The magical sport is a fan favorite,  and especially during the third book, sequences relevant to the plot take place during Quidditch. It is also in the third book that Gryffindor finally win the Quidditch Cup, much to the relief of Oliver Wood himself, as the third book is his final year at Hogwarts, and as Quidditch Captain.

So why would [director] Alfonso Cuaron choose to exclude Quidditch if that is the case?
(Check out our links page for the the link)

::.Phoenix Sun note.::
Something that I have asked often myself.  This director seems to be doing this movie all wrong.  Bring back Chris Columbus!  There are just too many problems on set.  Also, regaurding the interview Alfonso Cuaron did for the New York Times...

I do not feel that one should use an innocent childrens book and movies to put across their own political views.

The Phoenix Sun would like to congradulate J.K. Rowling & her husband, Dr. Murray on the birth of their baby boy.  The baby, named David Gordan Rowling Murray, was born at the Royal Infirmary in Edinburgh, Scotland.  Best wishes to you all and hope all is well!

More than a week ago we found out that there will be no Oliver Wood in POA...now we find out that Slytherin Quidditch captian Marcus Flint may be out as well.  We have also found out that over key players, such as Kaite Belle and/or Angelina Johnson may also not be featured.  Of course this information has not yet been confirmed.

::.webmistress note.::
I personaly think the lack of key Quidditch players and/or no Quidditch at all is wrong.  As I stated before, it's a major part of the book.  Why not have it?  Why not have the returning players?  I'm sure most would agree with me when saying that Quidditch is a very exciting part of the movies and we all look forward to watching those scenes.  Even if this movie does feature quidditch, how can you have it whithout the captians?  That's all I have to say...for now.

The word "Muggle" has now been added to the dictionary.  "Muggle" will appear in the Oxford English Dictionary with the meaning:
In
the fiction of J. K. Rowling: a person who possesses no magical powers...

You may also incorporate this into everyday use with the meaning:  person who lacks a particular skill.
